During your visit, we'll assess your existing dental work for wear and perform a tooth-by-tooth examination with our non-invasive DIAGNOdent laser. Next, we'll screen for oral cancer, check the health of your gums, and evaluate your bite. We'll also take digital X-rays to see a complete picture of your teeth, inside and out. Digital X-rays emit 80% less radiation than traditional radiography.
Following your exam, we'll fully explain our findings and treatment recommendations. Intraoral photos of your teeth and gums will be displayed on a chairside monitor so that you can see and understand your condition and our recommendations for treatment. Dr. Milfred welcomes questions and will be happy to help you determine which therapies will achieve your smile goals.
